What's in this photo
- A bank of nine tankless water heaters on a steel frame
- A raised concrete platform
- Vent and gas lines running overhead
Nine tankless water heaters mounted on a steel frame over a raised concrete platform make up the hot water system in this mechanical room, with venting and gas lines running overhead. A bank this size is built for a property with a lot of hot water demand.
What goes into a job like this
With many units working together, a multi-unit system can keep supplying hot water while one unit is being serviced. A layout like this one, with the units lined up on a single frame and the piping grouped above, keeps every unit reachable.
